Welcome back to Etsydelphia, the best of online, handmade philadelphiana!
1. Slevin11's LOVE Robert Indiana Buttons
Show some love for Love Park! Sadly, the 79-year old Robert Indiana failed to copyright his most famous work, and knockoffs are everywhere.
Make a matching donation to the Creative Commons Foundation to atone for your sins, o piratical one.
2. jaymacalgiano's Philly Skyline and Ben Franklin tees
If you want ethereal fabric-art testaments to Comcast's domination of the skyline or the traffic jams on the way to the shore, these are your best bets.
Also available in the meat world at Mew (906 Christian).
3. VIX Emporium's West Philly patches
The irrepressible VIX Emporium (Classicists take note, the real-world boutique is at 5009 Baltimore avenue) sells these Gocco print messenger-chic denim patches and other fabulous handmade items.
We're craving their vintage typeface rebus notecards, too.

Stars of Faceadelphia's CurrentTV Shoot: Episode 6.
One of our favorite things about shooting for Current is exploring the secret nooks of Philadelphia's alleyways in search of beautiful colors and textures for background shots.
This ethereal girl said that her heart-shaped
necklace's provenance was "a secret".
In this tell-all era, a secret, even just a tiny one, is so powerful.
What secrets do you wear?

Screw the Rain, Tomorrow We Kick It!
On a rainy day like today, we know that fashion is the furthest thing from your mind. Luckily for us all, it's supposed to clear up by tomorrow, just in time for the filming of the THIRD FACEADELPHIA VIDEO.
So revel in your sweats and tee shirts now, and prepare to look kicky (and kick it!) in your fly duds tomorrow. Filming starts 11 a.m. at the Last Drop (13th + Pine), and continues out and around Center City, wherever the winds of fashion take us.
Give us a call at any time to find out our exact location.
See you then!

Faceadelphia Sells Out (to Al Gore)
We know that you're dying.
You just can't contain yourself.
Your mind is playing tricks on you and you just HAVE to know...what ever happened to those nice Faceadelphia girls, wandering the streets of the city late at night, snapping shots of fashionable passer-byers? Why don't they come skulking around your neighborhood / the Last Drop / Making Time / the F.U.E.L. Gallery anymore, armed with cameras and big grins?
Then your buddy at work forwards you a link to the Face's new homepage at Current TV and you wonder: did these colorful chicas actually sell out to the man?
Well, in a word, yes.
But really, here's what happened:
Rachel and Kate (Le Face) graduated college. Rachel moved to Mexico to ride sea turtles and talk to the dolphins. After the dead dog carcass outside her house lay decaying for 2 months, she returned.
Meanwhile, Kate rejoiced that she had no more papers to write and moved next to a killer beer store, only to realize she did not have a private trust fund and needed a steady 9-5 (with freelancing on top) to make ends meet.
Sadly, in these states, neither had time to wander the streets with a camera, as they had so gleefully months before.
Instead, they decided to stick to videos, as they required less daily work and came with a small monetary reward. They teamed up with cameraman and filmmaker Andrew David Watson and decided to show Philly how things were done.
Two videos later, they had experienced the apex of Philly weather, shooting in 95 degree heat and that freak snow storm that blasted Philly in March '07. But having pledged their loyalty to Current TV (and its founder, Sir Al Gore), they decided to stick it out and film a 3rd video, which is really the topic of this post in the first place.
THE THIRD INSTALLMENT IN THE FACEADELPHIA SERIES WILL BE FILMING SATURDAY MAY 10 (raindate: Sunday, May 11) IN VARIOUS, TO-BE-ANNOUNCED LOCATIONS IN CENTER CITY.
{end caps}
We're looking for people with a unique sense of style who aren't afraid to expose the juicy details of their fashion choices in front of the camera.
Stay tuned for more details, and check out our previous videos for some inspiration:
